Hi, I’m Ted. I’m here to show you how Next Generation Schools will make a difference for students like me. Imagine for a second that I attend a Next Generation School.

This is my story:

When I started at my Next Generation School, my parents and I met with my Learning Coach. It was great! He really listened and helped me find classes and projects that fit my interests.

My classes

I take some of my classes online so that I can work from home on my own time but I also have classes at school and at the Regional Learning Center.

Because I have different teachers online, at school and at the Regional Learning Center, I keep all of my work in my electronic portfolio. All of my teachers can access it and see the work I am doing. My Learning Coach also looks at my electronic portfolio to see if I am ready to move to new classes.
